McPeters, Sharon Smoyer, age 70 of Pelham, Al. passed on January 29, 2013. Sharon Attended Lakeview Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother (Memommy). She will also be remembered for years of dedication teaching children with special needs. Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 44 years, Glenn McPeters ; Daughter , Kristy McPeters Chason ; son, Jeff McPeters (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Zach and Zane McPeters, and Bailey and Blaine Chason. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham. The graveside service will be the same day at 11 a.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Shelby County Humane Society or your favorite charity.
