Stephanie Paige Elward

Paige's family will greet friends on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the church, 5514 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL 35242.

Paige was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 11, 1970. Her family moved to the Birmingham, Alabama area, where she graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in 1988. For 20 years, she loved everyone who came through the doors of the Shelby County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), where she retired as manager. In her leisure, she enjoyed relaxing at the beach, caring for turtles and dogs, and photography.

Paige was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm Elward. Survivors include her heart and soul, her only child, Blaine Elward Young (Caleb); her mother, Mary Lou Elward; one brother, Christopher Elward; one sister, Angela Elward; and three nieces, Alana, Kaylie, and Tessa Elward.
