COGGINS, STEVEN "STEVE" WALTER, age 44, went to be with our Lord on Thursday morning, September 8, 2011. The Birmingham, Alabama native was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Steve was a member of Oak Mountain Baptist Church of Pelham, Alabama and a graduate of Pelham High School. Survivors include his parents, Betty and Bobby Coggins; sister, Susan Duke; children, Colt Coggins and Christina Vowell; beloved nieces, Elizabeth Duke and Lily Duke; and several cousins. The graveside celebration of Steve's life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Oak Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Whaley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice Inc.
