Thomas (Tom) A. Cotromano, age 69, of Pelham, AL, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. He was born to Ettore and Carol Cotromano on June 18, 1956, in Jamaica, New York. He was a graduate of Uniondale High School in New York.
Tom dedicated his career as a skilled transmission builder, where he took great pride in his work with Mr. Transmission. He was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus in Oceanside, New York, where he formed lasting friendships and served his community. Tom had a deep love for sports and was a devoted fan of the New York Mets and the New York Giants. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, never missing a chance to follow his favorite drivers. His passions and dedication to the things he loved will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Ettore and Carol Pieper Cotromano.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Diana Kay (Dee Dee) Higginbotham Cotromano; his children, Colleen Cotromano (Clay Hannah), Roger Booth, and Katie Brewer; his grandchild, Warren Cotromano; his siblings, LuAnn Cotromano, Susan Seavers (John), Gene Pace, and Steve Pace.
