Timothy Joe Farish Sr.

Timothy Joe Farish Sr. was born on February 19, 1965 to Carl and Mathyleen Farish in Decatur, Alabama. Tim received his formal education at Austin High School in Decatur, Alabama. He furthered his education at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.

Tim Farish was united in holy matrimony with Donna Marie Shelley on June 1, 1990 in Fort Benning, Georgia. Their union was blessed with 3 children.

He was employed by ALDI Grocery Stores as an Assistant Store Manager for 2 years. He spent his career and lifetime working in the Food Retail and Convenience Store industries for 40 years.

In his leisure, he enjoyed reading, watching his favorite football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and his favorite T.V. series and movies. Tim was an accomplished writer and author of The Storm Rising series and loved writing his own novels. He was a family man and his most valued time was spent with his wife, children, and pets.

Tim Farish was preceded in death by his father, Carl Farish, Jr. and mother, Mathyleen Farish.

He leaves to cherish his memory; Wife: Donna Farish of Helena, Alabama; Children: Courtney Farish of Helena, Alabama, Brandon Farish of Sarasota, Florida and T.J. Farish, Jr. of Helena, Alabama; Siblings

Brother: Mike Farish and wife Judi Farish of Decatur, Alabama, Brother:Terry “Chop” Farish and wife Michelle of Somerville, Alabama; Sister: Angie Farish Burnham and husband Bill of Hickory, North Carolina

5 Nieces and Nephews and 8 Great Nieces and Nephews.

A visitation for Timothy will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
