Tricia Lacey Hyde

October 23, 1972 - May 12, 2018

Tricia Lacey Hyde passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama surrounded by those she loved.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents Nancy Harrison and John Paul Ripp and Ruth Silver and Marshall Davidson Lacey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Larry Wayne Hyde, her mother, Virginia Ripp Willis (John), her father Senior Master Sergeant Marshall Davidson Lacey Jr. (Pam), her siblings Marshall Davidson “David” Lacey, III (Wendy) and Elizabeth Lacey King (Tommy), along with her nieces and nephews: Brett, Bryan, Isabell, Knox, Lacey, Patrick, Walker, and William - all of whom she loved and cared for as her own children.

Tricia was a native of Birmingham, a graduate of the University of Montevallo (’95) where she studied Retail Merchandising, and a proud member and officer of her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. She was the Operations Manager for the Birmingham Association of Realtors and the Treasurer of the Chelsea Business Alliance.

Tricia will forever be remembered for her selfless and compassionate spirit, her innate desire to help and uplift all who surrounded her, and for her infectious laugh and ability to make any occasion a reason to celebrate.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 15 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7340 Cahaba Valley Rd. Birmingham, AL 35242). Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with Mass following at 2:00 pm. The graveside service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd. Pelham, AL 35124) at the conclusion of Mass. After the graveside service, family and friends are invited to return to St. Mark's Parish Life Center for a reception.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children's of Alabama in memory of Tricia Lacey Hyde.
