He was born on July 18, 1932 in Bessemer, AL. He graduated from Auburn University in 1956 and served as a military policeman during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. He worked as an industrial engineer at companies such as US Steel and retired from Harbert International.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Kelley and Lee; his grandchildren, MeMe and Jack; numerous cherished friends who knew and loved him; and several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive loved ones at Southern Heritage on Saturday, December 16 at 9:30 AM, and his service will follow there at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of his daughter, or to Hoover First United Methodist Church.
