PELL CITY – Funeral Service for Abigail “Abby” Mitchell, age 42, will be held Wednesday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 8 from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Mitchell passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. She is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Ann Mitchell.
She is survived by her mother, Dorita Hamilton; step-father, Gary (Susan) Hurst; step-mother, Barbara (John) Wyatt; sister, Christina Richardson; step-sister, Angie (Paul) Dobbs; brother, Emmett (Kendal) Richardson; step-brothers, Gary (Tracie) Hurst, Jr., Michael Hurst; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
