Carl Skip Herring

Skip is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patti Herring; his daughter, Andie Dorsett ( Scooter); his grandchildren, Dane Dorsett ( Katelyn), Levi Dorsett, and Eryn Oliver ( Cody); his great grandchildren, Hayes Dorsett, Bryce Dorsett, and Carson "Rowdy" Oliver; his sister, Shirley Fulmer (Lamon); and his brother, Lee Crapet ( Sandy);and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Herring and Barbara Armstrong.

A celebration of life visitation for Skip will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 3:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the local humane society.
