Caroline Ann Masters

PELL CITY – Mrs. Caroline Ann Funderburg Masters entered eternal life on Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Vincent’s East Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel & Annie Funderburg; sister-in-law, Judy Funderburg and brother-in-law, George Love.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joel Masters; son, Michael; daughter, Michelle (Todd) Jones; and Mark (Janna) Masters; her six grandchildren, Miles & Macy Masters, Alex & Abby Jones, Logan & Braeden Masters all of Pell City; sisters, Vivian Love, Judy (Larry) McDanal; brothers, James “Buster” Funderburg, Wayne (Linda) Funderburg and a host of nieces & nephews.

Carolyn lived a life of unwavering faith and service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an active member of Eden Westside Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed a lifetime of service in the Church. She loved traveling with her husband, attending her grandchildren's events and was lovingly known to many as Nana.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, February 1 at Eden Westside Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jackey Connell, Bill Ayres and Herman Pair, officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:30 -7:00 p.m. at the Church. Graveside service will be Thursday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Benny Bowman, Rowe Frederick, Ellis Perrin, Mickey Pinson, Don Morris, Pete Morton, Vernon Gardner, Keith Lee and Scotty Pinson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eden Westside building fund.
