Gloria Bearden Paxton

Gloria is survived by her husband of 69 years: Roy T. Paxton; her sons: Roy Thomas Paxton (Chryl) and David Lynn Paxton (Kathy); her grandchildren: John David Paxton (Scarlet), Samantha Paxton (Kyle Howard), Kyle Paxton and Stone Paxton; her great grandchildren: Jenna, Vivien, Liam, Olivia, Alice, Van and Bodie; her sisters: Pat Calvert, Linda Foster (Ronnie) and Wanda Aldridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter: Bernadette Paxton; her parents: James Calvin and Mamie L Yarber Bearden; two brothers and one sister.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave N, Pell City, Alabama 35125. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:00 am in Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther Jr. Drive, Birmingham, Alabama.
