He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela McKinney; sons, Gary McKinney (Twyala) and Jeff Angel; grandson, Degan McKinney; and brothers, Jack McKinney III, Richard McKinney, and Michael McKinney; and sister, Melissa Ballack (Jeff).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Nettye McKinney.
A graveside service will be held for Gregory at The Alabama National Cemetery at 11:00am on Friday, July 11, 2025.
