Funeral service for Howard Aubrey Smith, age 94, will be held at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday in the chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Chris Beck will officiate the service.
Mr. Howard is survived by his son, Greg (Misty); daughter, Vivian Marty (John); grandchildren, Amanda Latham (Brian), Matthew Smith, Allison Ballard (Zachary), Russell Marty, Emmilee Smith (Caleb), and Amelia Smith; great-grandchildren, Tanner Simmons and Reagan Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mae Bernice Smith and his parents, Eddie B Smith and Phennie Josephine Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Smith's memory to either the Alzheimer's Association or Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cropwell, Alabama.
