John M Sweat Jr., age 87, of Cropwell, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. John was born February 6, 1935 to Virginia Bell Walrond Sweat and John M Sweat, Sr., who preceded him in death.
John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor Ann B Sweat; sons: Barry K Sweat and Randal L Sweat; sister: Patsy Sweat Barth; brothers: Donald Ray Sweat (Pat) and Ronald P Sweat; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for John will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St Clair Memorial Gardens. Pastor Chris Beck will be officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Cropwell, or Alzheimer’s of Alabama.
