PELL CITY – Funeral Service for Murl Dean Grimes Parker, age 82, will be Thursday, September 28 at 3:30 p.m. at the Vandiver Church of God. Interment will follow at Lawleys Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Church.
Ms. Parker passed away Monday, September 25, 2017.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Jan (Joe) Yates, Jenny (Brian) Penwell; step-daughter, Denise Dexter; step-son, Brian (Sherry) Parker; 10 grandchildren, Daniel (Stephanie) White, Rebecca (Austin) Powell, Brianna Penwell, William Penwell, Zachary Penwell, Leah (Trey) Lewis, Amanda (Matt) McKenzie, Misty George, Brett Dexter, Bailie Dexter; 8 great-grandchildren, Hayden White, Rylan Penwell Neighbors, Olivia Powell, Brinley Lewis, Landon Skelton, Ashton Skelton, Garrett Parker, Grant Parker.
