Patsy Ann Hathcox

Patsy Ann Morrison Hathcox, age 85, of Riverside, Alabama passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023. Patsy was raised in Anniston by her wonderful, loving, and caring parents, Ruby and Curtis Houston.

She graduated from Oxford High School and attended Atlanta Business College. She was employed 45 years through G.E., Xerox Corp., and Riverside Mini Warehouses/Offices she and Jimmy built and owned). Pat excelled in Human Resources as she enjoyed assisting personnel in their time of need. She was an active member of Arbor Baptist Church, served on the Riverside Town Council, as well as other church and community affairs. Pat also shared 56 years of wedded bliss between her two spouses. Bill Morrison (deceased) 32 years, 2 beautiful daughters, Jimmy Hathcox (deceased) 24 years. Pat and Bill were young, busy making a living, and raising 2 beautiful, loving, and caring daughters. Four years after Bill’s death, she wed Jim. They shared time in Mentone, Gulf Shores, and their lake home in Riverside. Love those snowbird friends. Life was good!

Patsy is survived by her daughter: Debi Spivey (Lloyd); her grandchildren: Michael Spivey (Alicia) and Bailee Spivey (fiancé, Casey Crobsy), her great grandchildren: Makenzee, Skyler, Dallas, Kameron; her son in law: Don Boots; her sister: Nancy Grace (Gene); and her nieces: Karen Grace and Donna Grace.

Patsy was preceded in death by her first husband: Bill Morrison and her second husband: Jimmy Hathcox; her daughter: Tami Boots; her parents: Curtis and Ruby Houston.

A celebration of life visitation for Patsy will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 12:30 PM. An interment will occur Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Anniston, AL.
