Shirley Ann Thompson, age 78, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Shirley was born February 28, 1943 to Lofton Edward and Mildred Melvina Bowman Sr.

Shirley is survived by her daughter: Kim Newsome (Dale); grandchildren: Laysea Chasteen (Kurt) and Dale E. "Bo" Newsome II (Crystal); great grandchildren: Braden Freeman, Blaiklyn Freeman, Skylar Newsome, Emma Mooridian and Riley Mooridian; and brothers: Freeman Bowman and Frankie Bowman.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Pete Thompson; son: Robert E. "Bobby" Thrasher and parents.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral service to follow. An interment will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at St Clair Memorial Gardens.
