Virginia Bobbie Jean Hare

Bobbie enjoyed traveling around the country and has gone to every state in the US but Hawaii and Alaska. She also enjoyed dancing and danced until she was in her 70’s when she had to stop because of a bad knee.

Bobbie enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and helped with their care whenever needed. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning food.

Bobbie is survived by her daughters: Tina Ogle (Ellis) and Becky Mazingo (Mark); her grandchildren: Dan and Jody Wilkerson, Raven Funderburg, Katrina Hooten and Reana Mazingo; and many great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband: Ormond Hare; her daughter: Regina Cook; her parents: Ernest and Mila Faulkner Minor; her sister: Shirley; and her brothers: Amos, Charles and Hugo.

A graveside service for Bobbie will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
