Jeanne Marie Jud

Jeanne was born on August 11, 1928 in Englewood, NJ, the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Deshusse) Keane. She was the co-founder and co-owner of Jud’s Stone House Nursery in Bluff Point. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her son, Edward D. Vagell, Jr in March of 1998 and her 1st husband, Edward D. Vagell in 1987.

She is survived by her husand, Carl Don Jud of Bluff Point; son, Charles J. (Angela) Vagell of Jupiter, FL; daughters, Suzanne (John) Vagell Lomicky of Athens, GA; and Yvonne Eie of Bluff Point; five grandchildren, Michael Edward Vagell of Madison, CT; Jeanne Vagell-Rowlee of Hollywood, FL; Michelle Eie-Downs of Keuka Park, NY; Sara Lomicky of Athens, GA; John Lomicky Jr. of Monteray, CA; five great grand children, Britteny Downs, Courtney Downs, and Marissa Downs all of Penn Yan, NY, James Vagell and Isabelle Vagell both of Madison, CT; one great great granddaughter, Alice Downs; and her sister, Nanette Keane Raimondo of Fort Lee, NJ.

Friend and family may call from 4 pm to 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY where a prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to the Ontario Yates Hospice, 756 Pre Emption Rd., Penn Yan, NY 14527 or to the Finger Lakes Land Trust, 202 East Court St., Ithaca, NY 14850.
