

Margaret was born in Geneva, NY on November 27th, 1914, the daughter of the late, Ellen (Nichols) and William Seager. She volunteered at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan for over 80 years. Margaret also had been a hairdresser and had worked at the old Hill Top Restaurant. She enjoyed genealogy and researching local history.
Margaret is survived by her son, Frederick (Gretchen) Larham of Spring Hill, FL and daughter, Mary Tatro of Madisonville,TN; grandchildren, Jeffery Larham of Penn Yan, Noah (Kate) Larham of Geneva, Tallon (Carin) Larham of Liverpool, and Christopher (Andrea) Tatro of Reno, NV; Seven Great Grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sheila Larham; and three nieces and four nephews. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her first husband, Samuel Larham, second husband, Carl Drakeley; infant daughter, Suellen Larham; grandsons, Joshua Larham and Cody Tatro; and brothers, Ralph W. Seager and Donald Seager.
Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan, 224 Main St., Penn Yan, NY. Funeral Service Celebrating 102 years of her life will follow at the church at 1pm, with Rev. Stephen Sanden officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Penn Yan, 224 Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527.
