Margaret Mills

Margaret was born on October 1st, 1919, the daughter of the late Lewis and Martha (Newby) Potts. Margaret will be remembered for her service to the community through her work at the Taylor Law Offices, as Town Clerk, pianist for the Eastern Stars, and volunteer work at the First Baptist Church. Mostly she will be remembered for the love and guidance given as Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma Margaret.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack and sons Robert and David. She is survived by her son Jon and daughter Candace (Dahrea), her grandchildren Michael Dahrea, Jennifer Iota, Alison Mills, Cameron Mills, Brady Mills, John Mills as well as 10 great grandchildren.

We would like to thank all the people who have supported and cared for Mom including her friends at St. Marks Terrace, blessed caregivers at Penn Yan Manor and especially for the devotion of her daughter-in-law, Debbie Mills.

A Memorial Service for Margaret will be held at the First Baptist Church, 224 Main Street, Penn Yan, NY on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 at 11 am. Interment with committal will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Penn Yan on Monday, May 2nd at 1pm.
