
Virginia A. Lenton, age 80, of Penn Yan, NY passed away Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at The Homestead Nursing Home. She was born in the Town of Milo, NY on March 1st, 1936, the daughter of the late, Lewis E. and Jessie C. DeLong Woolever. Virginia was a local, self-employed, beautician for many years. She was also an organist for Milo Center United Methodist Church, Second Milo Baptist Church and other churches at times over the years. Virginia truly loved what she did and the many people that she met along the way. She was so special to so many that her and her music will be remembered in everyone’s hearts.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, John Lenton of Penn Yan and Carol (Jeffrey Meyers) Fulmer of Plattsburgh, NY; grandchildren, Cody Fulmer and Steven Meyers; sister-in-law, Ann Neilson; as well as, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Earl Neilson, Roger (Helen) Woolever and Lawrence (Paula) Woolever.
A gathering celebrating her life will be held at the convenience of her family.
