Ann Elizabeth Dick Everitt passed away June 16 after living a long, wonderful life. She was born on Dec. 9, 1915 in Columbus, OH and was married to Harold Everitt in 1947 in Reno, NV.
She is preceded in death by her dear husband, Harold, after 64 years of marriage. She was the youngest of five children born to Earl and Katherine Dick, growing up in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Survivors include her two daughters, Paula Carter, Pensacola; Vikki Griffin, Indianapolis, IN; son, Timothy Ewing, Salem, OR: grandaughters, Katie Bulger Catalani (Sam), Pensacola; Jennifer Bulger Kelley (Travis), San Diego; Carly Griffin, Indianapolis; and grandson Brian Griffin, Pensacola. She also was loved by 5 great-grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, and Olivia Catalani as well as Ryan Kelley and little Claire Kelley whom she hadn’t met.
Ann was so proud to have earned her high school diploma from Pensacola Adult High in 1963. She loved her job with the Polk Company working on the City Directory and her volunteer work with the Red Cross at Naval Hospital. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Warrington for most of her life in Pensacola and attended chapel at Naval Hospital. She loved all of her friends at Zelica Grotto where she played bingo as often as she was able. We thank you all for taking such good care of her over the last years. She thought of you as her family.
