Ann Gray Lucia

Ann Lucia peacefully entered her eternal rest on August 3, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 26, 1933 to her loving parents Louis and Marion Gray. Ann was a college graduate of the University of West Florida.

She met the love of her life of 67 years, Tom Ross Lucia while he was hitchhiking with a friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Tom. She is survived by her sister, Joan Gray Bernier, her three sons whom she adored, Tom (Deanna), Ben, and Greg (Jackie) and her three grandchildren that always made her smile Nicholas Lucia, Jordan Lucia Escarra (Tyler), and Kirsten Lucia. Ann retired after a long career as an elementary school teacher at St. Paul Catholic School in Pensacola. She will always be fondly remembered for her sweet smile and her gentle, loving ways.

A big thank you to the staff at Life Care of Pensacola and Covenant Hospice who took such good care of her in her final days. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel beginning at 10:30 am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Bayview Memorial Park.
