Annie Laura Kyser

Annie is survived by her children Laura Ann Kyser; Winston Earl; and Edith Marie Austin; brothers John Albert and James Felton; grandchildren Brandon Heath Milstead, Sandra Ruth Harmon, Jason Earl Kyser, Ginger Marie Johnson, great grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Milstead, Ryan Heath Milstead, Drew Christopher Milstead, Claire Elise Milstead, Austin Taylor Collinsworth, Lanie Harmon Decker, Cade Harmon, Courtney Christine Kyser Fitzlaff, Kendra Patricia Kyser, Macayla Marie Collinsworth; great great grandchildren Violet Fitzlaff and Annastin Collinsworth.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband Junious Earl Kyser; father Cecil Clinton and mother Mattie Martha (Sanders) Gulsby; sister Margaret Odell (Gulsby) Lee; brothers Melvin William, Cecil Babe, Truman Earl, Robert Lee (R.L.) and Raymond Lester; great grandchild Logan Tyler Collinsworth.

Annie Laura Kyser was the firstborn of her eight siblings, all but two of whom are now deceased. She was a very pleasant and positive person who loved the Lord, loved to attend church and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed reading. Even after her first stroke less than a year ago, she maintained her special smile and sweet disposition. Generally, she was humble, energetic, generous, kind, accepting and quiet. She loved people and made them feel comfortable. Although it took a lot, she could be stubborn when she felt it necessary to stand her ground. She loved her family dearly and we loved her dearly in return. If you asked, she would offer her insight and wisdom into today’s life problems.

A visitation for Annie will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow.
