After graduating from high school she attended nursing school in Muskogee, OK and began her career as a Registered Nurse.
She married Charles Brumley in 1964 and they raised their four children in Yukon, OK. In 1980 they moved to Saudi Arabia to work where they lived for 10 years. She enjoyed volunteer work and traveling the world with her husband and friends. They returned to the United States in 1990 and settled in Pensacola, FL where they owned a successful Jackson Hewitt franchise until retirement.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and son James Brumley.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Charles Brumley, 3 daughters Cheryl Duncan, Donna Garcia and Charlotte Davenport, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great great-granddaughter.
Memorial service will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Saturday, August 19th at 2:00 pm.
