Brenda Jean Osborne, 78, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on May 11, 2026, at her home in Pensacola, Florida. Though her passing brings deep sorrow, her family finds comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is now with her loving Savior.
Life and Legacy
Brenda was born on August 13, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Charles and Kathleen Snyder.
She worked for the City of Jacksonville in several departments before concluding her career as an executive assistant with the Jacksonville Fire Department, where she assisted with workers’ compensation matters.
Faith and Church Life
As a young adult, Brenda gave her life to Christ and remained faithful in her walk with the Lord throughout her life.
She was a devoted member of East Point Baptist Church, where she worked in women’s ministry for many years before moving from Jacksonville to Pensacola to live with her daughter, Robin. You could always count on Brenda to invite everyone she met to church.
After moving to Pensacola, she became a faithful member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church, where she served the Lord until the day of her departure.
Interests and Remembrance
Brenda was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be remembered for her love for the Lord and for the many simple joys that brought happiness to her life.
She loved all things tropical, seafood, and Elvis. She loved to watch the waves and listen to the sound of the ocean. She also enjoyed John Wayne, Hallmark movies, and I Love Lucy. One thing you might not know is that she loved the old scary monster movies as well.
Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, games and finding ways to create happy memories through her whimsical ways.
