Carl Wayne Morris

Carl W. Morris, 75, of Pensacola, FL, entered his final resting place peacefully on July 31, 2023 in the company of his loving sisters. He was born July 15,1948, in Pensacola, FL the son of the late Herman and Doris Jane(Shelby) Morris. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Carl served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his older brother Richard Carter and his parents Herman and Doris Morris. He is survived by his children RIchard(Sharon)Morris, Shelia Morris, Dewayne(Sarah)Morris, Barbara(Matthew)Porter, Angela(Neil)Silas. Sisters, Marie(Alvin)Potts, Frances Richardson, Barbara Nord, and long time brother-in-law/best friend Ernie Houston. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews that loved him.

His family will receive friends and relatives from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Thursday, August 3rd, at Oaklawn Funeral Home, 619 N. New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506. Inurnment will be at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of Sacred Heart hospital ICU and also the Hospice team at Sacred Heart Hospital.
