Cliffton William Tippens, known to many as Cliff, passed away on March 5, 2025 in Jupiter, Florida, at the age of 53. He was born on May 18, 1971, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and spent his early years in Pensacola before making Jupiter his home.
Cliff graduated with honors from Pensacola Christian High School and earned a cross-country scholarship to the University of Central Florida. His strong Christian faith was a guiding force throughout his life. As a teenager, he played the violin in his church orchestra and continues his passion for music into adulthood.
A dedicated and hardworking general contractor, Cliff owned and operated GC Cabinet and Stone Supply Inc. in Jupiter. Despite his demanding career, family was always his priority. He was a devoted father to his children, Ryan Tippens and Kirathea Tippens, and a loving grandfather-affectionately known as "Pop Pop"-to his granddaughter Jessica. He cherished spending time with them, often taking them on adventures to explore lighthouses, go fishing, or surf the waves he loved so much. Surfing was his escape, his happy place.
Cliff was known for his generosity and unwavering support for those around him. He always made time for extended family and friends, never hesitating to answer a call or check in just to say hello. He had a fun, light hearted but unique sense of humor and always knew just how to light up a room and make anyone smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Tippens; paternal grandparents, William and Margaret Tippens; and maternal grandparents, Patrick and Alice Ryan. He is survived by his children, Ryan and Kirathea Tippens; granddaughter, Jessica Tippens; mother, Kathleen Dunagan (Jerry Dunagan); brother, David Tippens (Ashley Tippens) and their sons, Dylan and Dawson; sister, Beverly Tippens Quenneville (Chad Quenneville) and their children, Tanner, Alexa and Gavin; as well as numerous other loved ones who will miss him dearly.
There will be a private service to celebrate his life.
Cliff's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
