Conrad T. Noel, age 88 of Pensacola, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 30, 2012. Born in Cadiz, KY, Conrad made Pensacola his home for the past 60 years. Mr. Noel was a loving father, devoted husband and faithful member of Olive Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday School Director and deacon. He retired from L&N Railroad. Conrad was preceded in death by his wife, Joan G. Noel; brother, Doris Noel; great granddaughter, Emma Tripplett. Conrad is survived by his wife, Rickey Noel; three daughters, Cheryl (David) Channell, Myra (Tom) Stewart, Donna (Jim) Cohron; son, Thomas (Barbara) Noel; two sisters, Mildred (Dick) Demers, Lorene (Dalton) Stallons; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myrtle Noel and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:30 am at Olive Baptist Church with burial to follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Dr. Ted Traylor will be officiating. Mr. Noel’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers and Charlie Blackwell will serve as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ministry Village at Olive Baptist Church.
