Dallas Joseph Cleckler

Early Friday morning, April 14, 2023, Dallas Joseph Cleckler of Pensacola, Fl, was called home by the Lord. Dallas was welcomed into this world On Valentine's day, February 14, 1979 to be forever known as the family's "Valentines Baby". Dallas was remembered for his kind smile, big heart, and his bright blue eyes. Dallas was the oldest of three brothers, but he looked up to his younger brothers as if they were the ones to teach older brother something special - on more than one occasion. Growing up, you would know them as the "3-D's". In his childhood years, he was known to be an elite athlete, he spent many years competing in any sport he took an interest in, and later graduated from Pine Forest High School. Many fond memories of his were spent with family and friends on the banks of Perdido River, partaking in activities such as swinging out off of rope swings, climbing atop pine trees and swaying them back and forth, and jumping off of bridges or anything high enough to make a good splash. Dallas was an adventurous spirit and free soul always seeking nature. Dallas shared a strong connection with the Lord. April 9, 2023, the Sunday prior to his passing, he attended church and asked to have his life rededicated to the Lord . He planned to get baptised April 30, 2023.

      We would like to thank you, and extend our appreciation for all coming to celebrate the life of Dallas. He will be missed tremendously by so many.

Dallas is survived by His mother Cecelia Franzone Cleckler, and his father Roger Cleckler. He was the older brother of Dillon and Dustin Cleckler. He gifted the world two beautiful children, Destiny and Dallas Jr. He was a grandfather to Lennox Cleckler, 1, the son of Dallas Jr. Dallas will be missed my many aunts, uncles , cousin and nieces. His partner, Jenny, stayed along side of him for 10 years. He was a step father to Haliey Harrel, Dieon Jones, and Alyssa Downs. He was "Paw Paw" to Amiyah (4), and Alayah (2), McPherson . He is preceded in his death by his proud grandparents Joe and Alice Franzone, waiting for him with open arms.

A visitation for Dallas will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534. A celebration of life gathering will occur Friday, April 28, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534. A committal prayer will occur Friday, April 28, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL 32526.
