

DeWayne Richard Robideaux, 90, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Pensacola, FL. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Nelson Robideaux, sharing 26 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Nelson Robideaux. Together they raised three children, Rodney, Ross and Rochelle.
DeWayne was born in Villard, MN. He grew up on a dairy farm, along his three brothers and two sisters. After graduating from Villard High School, he joined the United States Navy in 1953, serving 30 years and retiring as a Senior Chief. DeWayne’s overseas military duty assignments included locations such as, Spain, the Philippines and Alaska.
After DeWayne and Dorothy married in January 2000, they traveled extensively, making 20 or more cruises, to various countries around the world. Some of DeWayne’s favorite cruises were to the fjords of Norway, Antarctica and Greece.
They also enjoyed volunteering at the Naval Aviation Museum, in Pensacola. Some of their duties included restoring recovered aircraft, participating as docents for museum visitors and assisting during the Blue Angel air shows.
DeWayne was a talented and avid wood worker, producing many beautiful handmade bowls, vases and lazy susans. He enjoyed outdoor activities, as well, such as hunting, fishing and bird watching.
The memorial service will be held on May 11th at 12:30 PM, in the auditorium at Azalea Trace, 10100 Hillview Drive.
