Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ann Walton, his brother, Adrian “AC” Frost (surviving wife Janey), his baby brother, Jesse Frost and his beloved wife, Dorothy “Kathleen” Frost.
He is survived by his children, Tonya Frost Windham (Babe Wilson), Tony Snell (Sarah), and Cindy Caraway (Scott), his brother, Kenneth Williams (Rosie), and his grandchildren, Melissa Royals (Shane), Molly Motes (Brandon), Anna and Wilson Snell, Brooke Moore (Jake), and Landon Caraway. Donald also leaves behind six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Born and raised in Foley, Alabama, Donald graduated from Foley High School in 1956. His early life was characterized by a spirit of adventure and a passion for exploring beyond his hometown. This adventurous spirit led him to a distinguished career in several fields. From 1956 to 1961, he proudly served as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force, a role that sparked a lifelong appreciation for aviation. Following his military service, Donald continued to make an impact through his work at United Parcel Service and later retired from his role at Gold Cup Coffee Service.
Donald was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His enthusiasm for the Alabama Crimson Tide was well-known, and many weekends were devoted to watching sports with his family, celebrating the joy and camaraderie that his favorite team brought.
Donald’s greatest legacy is the profound and lasting impact he had on those around him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering support touched countless lives and left a memorable imprint on everyone he encountered. He will be remembered with deep affection for his generous spirit, genuine interest in others, and the many ways he made a difference in everyday life.
Donald Frost’s memory will endure through the love and admiration of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
