Kirk worked many years as a crane operator offshore in the oil fields and as a field technician for Synchronet Inc in Bremen, Georgia, where he made many lifelong friends. Kirk loved to entertain on his backyard deck where he served up his famous cheeseburgers along with so many stories and laughs. He also enjoyed restoring vintage automobiles and was most proud of his navy blue, 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. Kirk was happiest being on the water though, where he was given the nickname of "Captain Kirk", and loved taking long boat rides or just anchoring on a secluded beach. He was the type of man who was quick to offer a hand when needed and everyone was better off for having met or known him.
Left to cherish his memories will be his wife, Judy Hutchinson Lytton, his two sons, Gary Holloway Jr. and Brad Holloway, his daughter in law, Jessica Holloway and his three adored grandchildren, Victoria, Jack and Lucy. Kirk is also survived by his siblings, David Lytton, Buddy Lytton, Jerry Lytton, and Jane Sagnella, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20th at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel and Memorial Park located at 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. followed by a service at 3 p.m.
