Donald Lowry Propst

Donald was a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Civil Service as a computer specialist. He was an avid greyhound fan and made many friends throughout the years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Theodore and Sara Elizabeth Propst; son, Timothy (Kathy); sisters, Lois, Faye, and Ruth; brothers, Gaither, Clyde, Elmer; and the mother of his children, Bonnie Sue.

He is survived by his loving wife; Sandra; three sons; John (Patty), Mark, and David. Also leaving behind nine grandchildren to cherish his memory, Johnny, Richard, Lea, Damon, Devon, Corey, Jessica, Ryan, and Mark; and four great grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 10a-12p at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Inurnment with full military honors will immediately follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Shelter B at 12:30pm.
