
Elizabeth was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Franklin Joseph Shane and Adrian Marie Shane Edie. She had been retired since 2005. She went to school at Pensacola Junior College for CNA and received her CNA license. So that she could work and The Haven helping others.
She was a member of Saint Annes Catholic Church. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed many hobbies. She loved to Knitting, sewing painting and pottery. She also did volunteer work at Sacred Heart Hospital. She will be remembered for her kindness, happiness and her ability to see the goodness in people.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey C Hedenberg and his wife Cynthia, her sister Kathy Shane Buck, brother Michael Shane (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her Parents and her brother Timothy Shane (Tim).
There will not be a visitation or service. She will be cremated and sent to Arlington National Cemetery. Where her urn will be put in with her husband. (Columbarium)
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, can be made to the ASPCA, Saint Jude’s hospital, The 2A Foundation and The American Cancer Society. These were some of her favorites that she donated to.
