

Elsie Kathleen Trittschuh (Kathy) went peacefully to be with the Lord and is reunited with her husband, Edgar Harmon Trittschuh (Ed) on August 18, 2025. Kathy was born October 9, 1940 to James J. Wallace Sr. (Joe) and Annabell Pellett Wallace in Sarasota, Florida. She went to Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida. She played Basketball and loved going dancing in high school. Kathy and her brother James went to dances sponsored by the Methodist Youth Program. She worked as a medical assistant at Hope Haven Hospital after high school and worked the candy counter at the 5 Points Theater in Jacksonville. It was there that she met a handsome sailor and married him. Together they traveled and spent many nights and weekends chaperoning sporting events of their four children. Kathy became a member of the Navy Wives Club of America in 1967. She remained an active member for more than 50 years! During her years of being a dedicated Navy Wife, she was club president, chaplain, points and pins chair and even served as South East Region President. Her favorite part of Navy Wives was becoming a Charter Member of The Villages #316 in Lady Lake, Florida, where she resided for nearly three years. She was a native Floridian and was very proud to say that she had visited almost every part of the state, from Sarasota, to Jacksonville, to Pensacola, to Key West and everywhere in between.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, her only brother James Wallace, her nephew James (Jim) Wallace III, her granddaughter Ruby Rose Morrison, Sister-in-Law Roberta (Trittschuh) Beyer, Brother-in-Law, Carl Beyer and her beloved husband of 58 years Ed. She leaves behind her 4 children, Katherine Ann Morrison (Mark), Kevin John Trittschuh, Karen Arlene Trittschuh (Mike McCulley) Keith Edgar Trittschuh, Grand Children, Randolph (Randy) Scott Morrison, Lauren Michele Morrison, Virginia Katherine Morrison, and a step-grandson Ethan Hunton, two Great Grandsons, Drake Scott Morrison and Kane William Morrison, Sisters, Holly Gruber(Fred), Julie Baker (Scott), Nancy Patterson (Smokey), Amy Young (Dale), Sister-in -Law Virginia Kay Holfinger (Dave), Brother-in- Law Paul L. Trittschuh II, many nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be held on August 29th from 10:30 -11:30 am Oak Lawn Funeral Chapel at 619 N New Warrington Rd., Pensacola, FL with a Funeral Service from 11:30 -12:30 Officiated by the Rev. R. Matthew Dobson, followed by procession to Barrancas National Cemetery for a committal service.
