

Preceded in death by husband, Walter Thomas Carr, III; mother, Ella Godwin Glenn; father, James McDuffie Glenn; sister, Bertha Glenn Lister; brother, James Edward Glenn; brother, Donald Eugene Glenn; son-in-law, Steven Alan Haveard and infant daughter Christine Carr. Survived by her sister, Vivian Glenn Arnold (husband William); sister-in-law, Patricia Glenn; children, Deborah Carr Godwin (husband John), Susan Carr Haveard, and Donna Carr Fuller (husband Paul).
Also survived by her grandchildren, John Godwin (wife Dawn), Katherine Escudero (husband Cristian), Steven Ashley Haveard (wife Allison), Charity Bailey (husband Charles), Blaine Lautner (wife Rachael), Caleb Fuller, and Grace Fuller. Survived by her great-grandchildren Samuel Godwin, James Godwin, Cony Escudero, Luis Escudero, Juan Pablo Escudero, Elijah Haveard, Lily Haveard, Keila Haveard, Isabella Haveard, Abigail Haveard, Audrey Shortall, Noelle Halfacre, Braxton Patterson, Trey Bailey, Amiyah Bailey, Ameliah Bailey, Jaxson Lautner, Wyatt Lautner, Hayden Lautner, and Brinlee Lautner.
Eva was a dedicated gardener who enjoyed spending her days beautifying her private flower gardens. She also enjoyed hosting friends and family while pursuing a variety of creative hobbies including sewing, quilting, painting, and designing floral arrangements.
Funeral will be held at Eastern Gate in Pensacola, Florida on June 30, 2023 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Family and friends are invited to join her daughters for a light luncheon at her home following the service.
