

Franklin D. “Frank” Campbell, 84 passed away in Pensacola, FL. Frank moved to Pensacola in the late 1950’s from Gainesville, FL to begin a career in the automotive industry. He was well known by area Volkswagen, Porsche and import owners for his smile, knowledge and willingness to help others. Frank was gentle, kind and cherished by his family, friends, co-workers and customers.
While cars were central to his vocation and hobbies, his greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed time together with his loving wife of 46 years, Betty and their three sons David, Richard and Steven. He consistently devoted himself to his wife and all aspects of his children’s lives. His sincerity, trust and integrity coupled with his wit and charm made him a truly special “Dad”.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty Campbell, and his four older brothers and sisters. He is survived by his three sons, David (Kim), Richard (Tina) and Steven, along with three grandsons, Stuart Campbell, Spencer Campbell and Samuel Campbell.
Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, Florida. Funeral services will be held at the same location on the following day, Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00am with an interment to follow at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
