Born in Etowah County, Alabama. August 6, 1930.

Ila Jo Cagle started out working in the Cotton Mill of Gadsden, AL. She moved to Pensacola, FL with her late husband, James Cagle, where she started her job at the QuickCheck to retire from Winn Dixie after 37 years where she made her life long friends. Ila Jo enjoyed traveling to visit family and to the casinos with her friend Shirley and her daughter Sherry. When she wasn’t on the road, she enjoyed her down time at home in the garden and tending to her plants or in the recliner with her dogs. It didn’t matter what song was playing or if she had a partner, she loved to dance her own little two stepped jig. She loved a good bargain and will be remembered for her sense of style that matched her attitude of being so cute and sassy.

Ila Jo Cagle is survived by her children Larry (Jolene) Cagle, Sherry Cagle, Sandra Cagle-Presley. Grandchildren- Yon Cagle, Jason Cagle, Kristen Cagle, Travis Presley, and Candice (Gary) Carnley. Great grandchildren- Mason Cagle and Stoney Cagle.

Predeceased by her son, James David Cagle.

A Visitation for Ila will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, Memorial Service will follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, led by Cousin Larry Smith. With a Reception from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
