

James T. Denny III (Tommy) native of Pensacola, FL., died April 7, 2016 at Clifford C. Sims State Veterans Home in Springfield, FL. He was a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High (1964), Pensacola Junior College (A.A. Accounting) and was a proud member of the U.S. Army 101 Airborne. He served in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic and was awarded two Bronze stars. He ended his employment career as maintenance personnel with MWR NAS Pensacola.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Monica Mary Robinson Denny, his brother David, his nephew Patrick Denny, his niece Marie Valle Broadus, maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his father James T. Denny Jr., his sister Monica and her family- Merrill Cutts, Rebecca and Robert Carter, Andrew and Samuel Cutts; his brother Michael and his family- Mary Ann Crystal Roy, Alexander and Cassandra Denny; his brother Terrence, his sister Joan and her family- Marion Valle, Eileen and Dan Stender, Carolyn and John Ellithorp, and 2nd Lt. Adam Valle (USAF); his brother Brian and his family -Raejean, Katherina and David Smith. Christopher Denny, Major James Denny (USAF) and Dee, Jennifer and Joe Davis, Travis Stanley, his brother Jonathan and his family; Robin Toomer, Samantha and Damian Delgado, and Jon Lee Denny. His is survived also by his Aunts, Margaret Wehring, Selina Denny, and Marie Fore, numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 11am-12pm at OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 619 N. New Warrington Rd. Funeral to follow at 12pm with burial at Barrancas National Cemetery.
