James “Jim” Thomas Pullen, age 87, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on February 5, 2026. Born on July 10, 1938, Jim lived a life defined by his dedication to his family, his career, and his community.
Jim was a much recognized and awarded sales executive who poured himself into his work, earning a reputation for excellence throughout his long career. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a steady and consistent presence in his church community. He served as a Deacon, was deeply involved in Bible studies, and was a faithful servant to the Samaritan Hands ministry. He was known for providing guidance and sharing heartfelt advice with both his family and those in need within the community.
His love of mentoring extended to his children, as he spent many years coaching little league. Jim was a passionate fan of Alabama football and enjoyed golfing. Those who knew him in his youth might also remember him for his smooth moves on the floor, having been voted “Best Dancer” in high school.
His greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his three sons and their families: Jay Pullen and his wife Geneva, along with their children Claire and Elliot; Barry Pullen and his wife Tina; and Dan Pullen and his wife Christine, along with their sons Daniel and Sam. Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dotty Pullen.
His legacy of kindness, mentorship, and his "Roll Tide" spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
