James Allen "Monkey" Roland

1969-2018

James Allen Roland AKA "Monkey" born January 7, 1969, entered into eternal peace on March 26, 2018 at Baptist Hospital. Monkey was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Bourque Roland; daughter, Karen (Aaron) Dutton; son, John Issermoyer; mother, Helen Davis (step-father Arvil Davis); sisters: Donna Ray Roland and Ashley Nicole Roland; brothers: Raymond Lee Roland and Dave Roland; cherished aunt, Lorelle Roland and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Horse Roland, brother, Eddie Roland, cherished uncle, DL Roland and daughter, Heather Dugas Roland. Monkey loved to be outdoors fishing and camping. He was a hard worker that elevated his craft of wood flooring to an art form. He had a gentle soul and a heart of gold. He will truly be missed and will live in our hearts forever. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service.
