James E. "Jim" Woodruff passed away in Pensacola, FL on March 20, 2022. He was born November 10, 1936 in central Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Eddie and Ethel Woodruff. James served twenty years in the U.S. Navy in many locations, including as Maintenance Officer of a Combat Search and Rescue helicopter detachment on several aircraft carriers supporting the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Navy, he worked as a defense and postal service consultant for another 23 years.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Susan, his sisters Mildred and Juanita, and his brother Marion. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis, now resides in Leesburg, FL, daughters Jackie and Angila, his son, Robbie, seven grand children and twelve great-grand children in Pensacola, FL.
