Jo will be remembered for the steady, quiet ways she showed her love—most clearly in the time she chose to spend with her family and in the care she extended to others. With a reserved spirit and a preference for the comforts of home, Jo found simple enjoyment in listening to music by Elvis and watching westerns, particularly FOX news—an interest that brought familiar rhythm to her days.
Jo is preceded in passing by her father, George Edward Knight. She is survived by her mother, Maria Bamba Knight; her siblings, Larry Vieitez, Robert and Michelle Vieitez, Richard Vieitez and Dianne Vieitez; godson, Ricky Vieitez; Felicia Knight Marlow, cousin and BFF; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews that were dear to her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, FL from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be no reception afterwards.
