Judi was born on May 30,1942 in Florala, Alabama. Judi was the oldest of four children to Dorothy and Charles Cook. Judi graduated in 1960 from Choctahatchee High School and got her cosmetology license shortly after. She married the love of her life, Richard Cavalli on June 24, 1961. Together they welcomed three children. Her children were her proudest achievement. After the children were grown, she started a career in life insurance at Liberty National, alongside her husband, Richard.
When Richard was taken too soon by cancer, Judi was the picture of strength. Her hobbies included drawing , singing, genealogy and watching soap operas. Judi loved traveling and going to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; father, Charles Cook; mother, Dorothy Cook; sisters, Shelia Tyson and Linda Cook.
Judi is survived by her daughter, Gina Boehne (Fred); sons, Ricky and Chuck Cavalli; brother, George “Buddy” Cook (Angie); grandsons, Jake and Noah Cavalli.
She lived her life with kindness, grace and a fierce love of family.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday, May 04, 2026 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. A graveside service will follow in Bayview Memorial Park, at 11:00 am.
