Leroy C. Bush

Mr. Leroy C. Bush, age 94, died March 5, 2017 in Pensacola. He was born in Hazard, KY to Andrew Fletcher Bush and Louise Combs Bush. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Philippines. In his professional life he worked as a Commercial Artist and was employed by WEAR and Bill Salters Advertising as well as being self-employed. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his art projects, and building an airplane which he learned to fly. He also enjoyed flying model airplanes. He was a member of the Experimental Aviation Club and the NW Forida Modeler’s Club.

Mr. Bush is survived by his daughter: Jo-Ann and husband Dan Eberle; his sons: Larry Bush and Kay Conway; Steve Bush and wife Linda; four grandchildren: Jennifer and husband Rodney Little, David Wallace, III and wife Cassie, Marcus Williamson and Preston Hill and wife Kristy; eight great grandchildren: Hayley Little, Kevin Little, Autumn Wallace, Aspen Wallace, David Everage, Haylee Hill, Riley Williamson and Rayna Williamson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Louise M. Bush; three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 9 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10 at 10:30 AM in the chapel at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
