Marylene (Mary) Hill Russell grew up in Chattahoochee Florida and after graduating high school in 1949 she married the love of her life Gerald (Jerry) Russell. Mary and Jerry had one son, Robert. Mary was a home maker and Jerry worked for Monsanto. During their time together, they lived in Alabama, Missouri, Georgia and Florida making friends wherever they went. She enjoyed being on the water and loved nothing more than entertaining her friends and family. Mary had a flair for fashion and design and was a very talented artist. To exercise her creative side, Mary also worked in dress boutiques and flower shops.
Marylene is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Henry Hill and Maggie B. Hill (Bennett), her husband Gerald Owen Russell, her son Robert G. Russell and her sister Amy Hill. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara Russell and two grandsons, Bryan and Daniel.
A visitation for Marylene will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Marylene will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
