Max Eugene Penton

Funeral services for Max Eugene Penton, age 84 of Milton, will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel in Pensacola. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service Thursday. Officiating the service will be Rev. R.L. Mimms under the direction of Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.

Mr. Penton was born April 20, 1934 in Pensacola to Myrtis and Mack Penton. He died May 13, 2018 also in Pensacola. He was an instrument mechanic by trade. Mr. Penton had a passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed taking his family on excursions on the houseboat he built himself. Mr. Penton was preceded in death by his parents, his son Steve Penton and his brothers Jimmy Penton and Harry Penton.

Mr. Penton is survived by his wife Velma Penton, his son Scott Penton, his daughter Cindy Winters, sister Betty Penton and numerous nieces and nephews.
