
Myrtle E Aliberti of Pensacola, Florida passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 99. She was born on November 30, 1926 in Cantonment, Florida, where she grew up in a very large family of 13 brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member.
For many years, Myrtle worked in the home-health industry lovingly caring for dozens upon dozens of people.
She was actively involved in her local church.
Myrtle is survived by her only child, Louis Gerard Aliberti, who tenderly cared for her in her home over the past three years with dedication and love; her four grandchildren: Nicholas A. Aliberti of Wakefield, Massachusetts; Anthony J. Aliberti of Brasstown, North Carolina; Joseph F. Aliberti (Bethany) of Gill, Massachusetts; and Angela M. Cook (Terry) of Ragland, Alabama; her four great-grandchildren: Nathan, Jacob, Isabella, and Jace (from Nicholas's family); Abel and Paisley (from Angela's family); as well as beloved cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special appreciation goes to Sarah and Tina for their dedicated, attentive, and deeply kind service—they truly made a meaningful difference in Myrtle's comfort and peace.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens at 1985 W 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534, on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 2:00pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
